Stacia Crawford (Director/Writer/Intimacy Coordinator) began directing in 2018; and in that time has directed several feature films (premieres Theatrically, on Netflix, Hulu, Lifetime, Tubi, UpTV). Her holiday film, A Unicorn For Christmas, was celebrated in Entertainment Weekly and Screenrant as one of the best Christmas movies on Hulu, two years in a row. She also directed ten episodes of a mystery-romance series for Passionflix, and several true-crime episodes for ID Discovery. Prior to directing, she produced feature films with MarVista Entertainment (premieres on Hallmark, Lifetime, CMT, and Amazon), as well as numerous independent feature films. She credits being able to blend her experiences as an actress in front of the camera and producer behind the camera (both in NYC and Los Angeles) as a baseline for her approach to directing. In addition to directing, Stacia has worked as an Intimacy Coordinator on several feature films and television shows, including Netflix’s The Waterfront and ABC’s RJ Decker. As a writer, she has co-created four original dramatic television series, all currently in development; and has authored several fiction books including the Kit Ten trilogy. Stacia is an active member of several guilds and filmmaker alliances, and often serves as an industry panelist and guest lecturer.
